Love is understanding and accepting

It's the good things in someone that makes you love the person, but it's how you learn to understand and accept the bad things in that person that makes your love survive.

The first time you love someone, all you see is the good things in the person. Perhaps, that's just the reason why you love that person. The one you love seems perfect and flawless. Even when you notice the flaws, you're just too in love to bother.

As you walk together with the person, you start to know more about the real version of that person. The more you spend time with the person, the more you know about the person. Not only the good things, but also the bad things. You know better.

The thing is, knowing better doesn't mean you understand better. Love is easy when everything you see is good. Unfortunately, when you decide to take the journey of love, it's impossible to see the good things only. The bad things are also there. Sooner or later, you meet them too. Will you just give up because that person is apparently not like your expectation at the first time you decide to love? If every couple give up, there's no couple will survive in the end.

Just knowing the person is not enough. You need to understand.

Maybe that's one of the biggest challenges of love. You find out the person you love is not the one you wish the person to be. Many things about the person do not match your expectation. The key is not only to know, but also to understand. Understanding means accepting. Learn to accept the person just the way the person is. There's a time when you need to understand the person more instead of demanding the person to understand you more.

It happens in every relationship, but how it ends is up to you. The challenges can be really difficult, but don't quit. As long as you two are willing to be open and learn to understand each other, in the end, the relationship gets stronger and the bond gets tighter. After all, it's the only way to make love survive: to understand and accept each other beyond all the flaws and imperfections.

Random thoughts...

As I lay down in my couch...something hit me..I've been dealing with some ungrateful and self centered people in the past! Dunno why thou..those peeps just walk in front of me uninvited.. As the time goes by I realize I've made a huge mistake and decided to let them go..hey don't get me wrong..I did thought about it clearly..but then again..the idea of keeping them around me just soooo yuckieeee..as in make me sick kind'a yuck..so there you go.. And even thou' the string no longer exist..those peeps just keep on pushing me to the edge..until they no longer approach me with their high self esteem..whatever that is! Just so you know peeps..what you did to me was pure evil..and even thou' it seems that you had a blast..but I know that deep inside your little heart..misery linger! Well no worries peeps..have fun with your pathetic life and one thing for sure..don't feel sorry for me!

Cobalah menyobek kertas di buku macam yellow pages. Gampang bukan? Nah, sekarang coba anda tumpuk kertas dari dua buku, selipkan kertas dengan kertas lain satu persatu. Tidak perlu banyak, sedikit saja. Lalu coba lagi menyobeknya. Sulit. Hal yang sama berlaku untuk benda lain, yang tampak rapuh, kalau disatukan jadi kuat. Nah, manusia juga begitu.

Semua revolusi itu cuma akan jadi wacana kalau tidak ada sekian banyak manusia yang mendukungnya. Hosni Mubarak tidak akan turun jika jutaan orang tidak turun ke jalan, tidak menduduki Tahrir Square.

Di jaman social media, menggerakan massa menjadi sedemikian mudah. Juga, bermain isu. Amarah, rasa kaget, keterlibatan dapat dengan mudah diarahkan dengan melempar isu. Kadang, kita seringkali tidak perduli dari mana informasi berasal, benar atau tidak. Saat mayoritas yang kita lihat berseru A, maka kita kan ikut menyerukan A.

Di ranah sosial media lagi, sebagian orang yang di kehidupan nyata mungkin tidak berpengaruh, mereka bukan tokoh politik, bukan aktivis, tapi dengan modal jempol dan statement statement yang menarik, katakan saja di twitter, mereka didengar puluhan ribu atau bahkan jutaan orang. Keterikatan follower dengan tokoh twitter ini terkadang bisa sangat tinggi. Apa yang dilontarkan mereka dianggap satu kebenaran oleh followersnya, maka wajar saja saat ada perang twit, biasanya berlanjut dengan perang followers.

Bayangkan saat seseorang yang followersnya sekian banyak, melakukan provokasi, bermain isu dan menggerakan opini dan massa. Mungkin terdengar terlalu berteori konspirasi, tapi ada lho account account tertentu yang memang dibuat untuk bermain isu.

Mungkin anda sulit membayangkan 140 karakter dapat mengubah dunia. Tapi tulisan dan gambar dapat menggerakan massa. Satu statement dapat berimplikasi besar saat direspon sedemikian rupa oleh jutaan orang. Deretan huruf dapat berubah jadi kekuatan besar, hanya dan jika dipersepsi sedemikian rupa oleh massa.

People power? I can say twitter power now. Sama saja sebenarnya, people power yang diakomodir, let say, new way of socialize. Karena itu pula, tidak tanggung tanggung CIA - Central Intelligence Agency- memonitor jutaan tweets yang beredar.

Tapi tak usahlah berpikir konspirasi teori semacam itu. Hal sederhana saja, sekarang banyak yang merasa punya kekuatan karena merasa punya massa. Atau merasa kuat saat berlindung di balik social media, karena tidak perlu menghadapi langsung konsekuensi yang ada kalau berhadapan langsung di dunia nyata.

Twitter is powerful, but still, it is a world beneath the real world. Either you have power in social media, or in real life, as Spiderman's famous quote "With great power comes great responsibility," so use it wisely. Not the twitter I meant, but the power. Saya dan anda masih bebas menyampah di twitter kok.

Lagipula, dunia nyata ini sudah penuh dengan keseriusan, why don't we spead some laugh and joy in twitter. Let the twitter bird sing with joy, cause it'll produce a nice timeline. Keep twitting, folks!

The magic of unconditional love

It was as if I was floating in the sea of unconditional love. No materialistic give and take or no expectations from anybody, but all small wishes coming true as if angels were just enveloping me in their arms and loving me like there is no tomarrow. How do you define this unconditional love? Simple just follow your heart and simply do things that make people smile and happy. Do not expect anything in return, just let the power of love capture everybody and turn everything in to positivity. Believe me it works. We always keep expecting things in realtionships and when we dont get it we feel sad and unhappy but have you ever thought that what life has to offer beyond all this? Its abundance and its huge. We cannot even imagine it, so much love, so much power, etc. Its just that we need to welcome and accept them into our lives. Love is not restricted to any one person or thing. You can love everybody and everything, and there is nothing wrong in it. But we shouldnt get possessive, addictive or destructive in it. That is least expectations and attitude to let go should be there.We should always rise in the feeling of love. God created the world on this basic feeling and it can never be wrong if its HIS creation. Only we humanbeings make it complicated and get obsessed with it. The Only truth which works for my life right now is love unconditionally and perform your duties honestly assigned to you by almight without getting it altered and without having any guilt in your heart. If your soul is clear you will never fear anything or anybody. I thank angels for entering my life and filling it up completely with infinite love.................LOVE YOURSELF TO LOVE OTHERS...........dont seek love outside you
